In addition to the gaming highlights, Sony surprised fans with the unveiling of new hardware accessories, including the Project Q Remote Play handheld and a pair of PlayStation earbuds. While specific details regarding specifications and pricing remain under wraps, both products are slated for release later this year.

One of the standout moments during the showcase was the tantalizing preview of Spider-Man 2, which showcased the iconic superhero, Peter Parker, donning his mesmerizing symbiote suit. This glimpse into the highly anticipated sequel left fans eagerly anticipating its release. Another exciting announcement came in the form of a Metal Gear Solid 3 remake, a beloved entry in the acclaimed stealth-action franchise. The release of Beat Sabre for PlayStation VR2.

The wildly popular music virtual reality (VR) game Beat Sabre is scheduled to debut on Wednesday for the eagerly awaited PlayStation VR2. The rapid release of Beat Sabre for Sony’s new VR headset comes as a welcome surprise to fans, despite the development of the game having previously been disclosed. Notably, existing PSVR owners of Beat Sabre will be given a free upgrade to the PSVR 2 version of the game, according to the description in Sony’s official Beat Sabre YouTube clip. Along with the game’s launch, Sony also announced that gamers could buy a soundtrack pack with a Queen theme.

Well the Beat Saber wasn’t the only piece of VR news from the event. Sony displayed footage of the in-progress VR mode for the just-released (and excellent) Resident Evil 4 remake. With videos showing the main character Leon Kennedy’s first steps into the world and visit to the town, it seems appropriately creepy. The trailer just served as a reminder that the mode is being developed; we were not given any information regarding a release date. According to a blog post on the PlayStation website, the whole story mode will be playable in the game.

Revenant Hill is the new latest game from the Night in the Woods’ creator and it is not a sequel:

The creators of Night in the Woods’ predecessor game have just released Revenant Hill. Revenant Hill’s announcement trailer could have led you to believe that it was a Night in the Woods sequel at first sight. The protagonist of NITW, Mae Borowski, has a suspicious similarity to the cat in the illustration. However, Revenant Hill takes place in the early 1900s, long before Borowski and her group of pals came in Possum Springs, according to the PlayStation blog promoting the game.

You take on the role of Twigs in Revenant Hill, a cat that has fallen on hard times and is required to work odd tasks in order to pay the rent on the wet log he calls home. With no release date finalised yet, Revenant Hill will launch on PlayStation and Steam.

The trailer has a much darker vibe than the one before it, implying a more complex and emotional story.

Fans were given a glimpse of Miles Morales, another adored character, in addition to the disclosures regarding Peter Parker. The new game will give gamers the chance to operate this well-known Spider-Man version, as the clip showed Miles Morales in action.

While Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s release date hasn’t been made public, Sony has confirmed that the eagerly awaited game will be available this autumn. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is positioned to be an exhilarating continuation of the famous Spider-Man video game franchise thanks to its captivating plot, the addition of Miles Morales as a playable character, the entrance of Kraven the Hunter, the use of symbiote powers, and the utilisation of symbiote abilities.
